1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Ensuring the information you provide is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.
• All activities that occur under your account, whether authorised by you or not.

Notify us immediately at support@snapandtrack.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload, transmit, or store any content that infringes the rights of others or contains malicious code.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, user accounts, or related systems.

4. Service availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time, with or without notice. Where practical, we will communicate significant changes in advance.

5. Beta and early access features

Some features may be released as beta or early access. These features are provided "as is" and may be subject to additional limitations or availability constraints. We appreciate your feedback and may use it to improve the Service without obligation to you.

6. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with the Service remain the property of snap&track or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

7. User content

You retain ownership of the meter readings, images, and other content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

8. Feedback

If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, and you acknowledge that we may have already developed similar improvements.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement. You assume full responsibility for your use of the Service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, snap&track and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for all claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or ZAR 0 if you have not paid us).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless snap&track, its affiliates, and their respective directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may terminate your account by contacting us at support@snapandtrack.co.za. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located within South Africa, subject to any applicable consumer protection rights.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
